How to Get a Website: Step 1 to Making Money Online
Before you get your website, you need to know what it's going to be about. Get out a notebook and write down several domain names that you feel are good fits for what you eventually plan to do with it. Also, sketch out a simple plan for the layout of your site. Here's what mine looked like for this website:

As you can see, it's just a simple plan to help me get the basic layout set straight in my head. It acts as a guide for what I do from that point on.
